The Wembley Stadium Tour
Follow in the footsteps of Legends at Wembley Stadium.
This famous stadium is opening its doors for you to discover a wealth of history and heritage. The new Wembley was the largest stadium in Great Britain at the time of its opening in 2007, with a seating capacity of 90,000.
Wembley Stadium is home to the England national side, as well as the FA Cup Final and Semi Finals, The Football League Cup Final, The FA Community Shield, The Football League Play Off Finals and The Rugby Football League Challenge Cup Final. The stadium also regularly hosts other major sporting events, including the NFL, and music concerts.
Go deep into the heart of the UK’s largest sports and music venue to those areas usually reserved for the biggest names in sport and music. Your tour will include the ‘Crossbar Exhibition’ and ‘Walk of Legends’, the changing rooms, press conference room, players’ tunnel, pitch-side, Royal Box and a photograph with the FA Cup.
From England’s glorious World Cup Victory in 1966, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona’s stunning UEFA Champions League triumphs, or the historic on-going tradition of The FA Cup Final, and the countless concerts and events that have taken place at Wembley, the Tour gives you the chance to relive the Stadium’s greatest moments, whilst creating some new ones of your own.
Historical treasures such as the 1966 World Cup Final crossbar and the Jules Rimet Trophy are just some of the original items displayed within The Crossbar Exhibition, which unlocks the Wembley archives to showcase the Stadium’s origins, rich history and heritage dating back as far at The British Empire Exhibition of 1924.
