Stratford Gin & River Lunch Cruise
Ever wondered how gin is made?
Stratford Upon Avon is one of the most popular destinations in the UK. With a rich history, quirky shops and the home of William Shakespeare, it’s not too difficult to see why so many people visit this fabulous town.
During this tour you will discover how Gin is made, learn about its history, and experience the many different ingredients used. Followed by a tutored tasting of at least 3 Shakespeare Distillery spirits, finishing with a Gin & Tonic.
However, before your Gin experience, we have arranged for you to board a relaxing River cruise.
This hour long cruise passes under Stratford’s two historic bridges, Clopton and Tramway, wending its way past the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, down to Holy Trinity church where William Shakespeare is buried, returning upstream into the pretty Warwickshire countryside. On your cruise upstream you pass some very lovely riverside gardens and it’s very possible that you’ll spot the resident herons, buzzards and, if you’re very lucky, catch sight of Kingfishers on the wing. We can guarantee you’ll definitely see Stratford’s swans! If this wasn’t enough, Fish and Chips will be served on board.
We have ensured there is plenty of time to relax in Stratford Upon Avon so you can enjoy the atmosphere, or perhaps take the chance to visit one of the many buildings that shaped the history of Shakespeare’s birthplace.
One free place after 30 paying passengers.
